Morning Prayer

I will set my face to the Lord giving thanks and praise because my God is forever merciful and gracious towards me! His compassion has never failed me. His peace is always surrounding me. God you are the lover of my soul and the defender at my gait. Anchor my emotions in your peace today. Steady my faith and bring conformation to the hope that is within me. Guide my feet in the path of righteousness and deliver me from every attack of the enemy! Let joy be abundantly supplied in my soul and cause laughter to be the medicine to heal me within. Today I will rest in the assurance of my God. Every weapon formed will fail because God has encamped His angels all around me. This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it! In Jesus name!
