Have you ever believed for something that was totally opposite of what you’re observing? Meditating on the promises of God and what you actually have in your possession can be stretching. At times, the things that God has promised can be almost impossible to hold on to. It appears to be easier to just let it go, but your spirit will bring it back and you simply cannot let go! You repent for the thoughts of letting go and ask God to minister to the weakness within. We are all believing God for something and we must persevere through the difficult times and build ourselves up in the Spirit of Truth.
“For in [this] hope we were saved. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For how can one hope for what he already sees? But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure. So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.” Romans 8:24-26 AMPC

Be honest with yourself and God, he knows the battles within your heart. I confessed to the Lord that this promise was getting hard to hold on to. I heard the Lord say; “stretch your faith daughter! Believe me even when you don’t see. When you can’t see my hands moving… know that I am moving. When you can’t see me turning it around to favor you… know that I am turning it around. What looks invisible to you… is really visible. Just believe! I am stretching your faith to proceed you. Your faith must match where your going. Stretch a little more, keep believing, know that I am moving amongst you!”
No matter where you are in your faith walk, don’t give up on God! Keep stretching! Keep believing! Your faith will become the bridge you walk across to obtain the thing your believing God for. It seems impossible in the natural. But with God all things are possible. “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 NKJV
