Wounds Do Heal!

Life seldom ends after we endure a hardship or a trying circumstance. Finding ways to pick up the pieces and move forward are essential for our emotional well-being! We can move forward as a healed individual or we can function out of our pain as we journey through life.

Journeying through life with the weights of heartaches, unforgiveness and bitterness only destroys our true character. I’ve never met an individual that has endured great pain proceed to function in life with peaceful characteristics without going through some sort of internal healing! Every human has been or most likely will experience some level of hurt or disappointment. Our true human nature is to be full of joy, peace and happiness. Unfortunately, life can have a few or many valley points that can highjack our peace and joy!

It is God’s desire for us to understand His principles of healing and releasing bondages. Carrying the weight of our circumstances can cause us to function out of the pain that we endured during that time. Have you ever carried a loaded backpack up a hill? By the time you make it to the top of the hill every part of your being has felt the affects of carrying that loaded backpack. As you make your way up the hill, your demeanor has changed drastically! The weight of our struggles affects us internally; which means, every internal wound must be healed.
